Have been asked to submit their objections to the report in 4 days.Have to be present in person before the SC on 24th NOV. Dont think their can be criminal prosecution, but a ban from cricket activities cant be ruled out. It also depends on the kind of charges they are put against. Everyone will have different charges. Like Srinivasan for COI, Kundra for betting, Mayappan for betting on his own team despite being a director. Link to comment

zep1706
I hope no player currently taking rest are involved. That would be a big blow to Indian cricket's reputation. Link to comment

Kalia_Test
May be.Most likely they will ask it to be sold to someone else. When the old Deccan chargers was dissolved as the owner company ( Deccan Chronicle Holdings Limited ) could not meet financial obligations ( not even a crime compared to fixing ) , they din't just ask for selling it to someone else but even new cities were considered ( like Ahmedabad, etc ). It is only fair that new cities are opened up and new owners get to choose their city ( which can be Chennai too if they want ). With Modi and Gujarat and stuff, Ahmedabad will give a tough fight to Chennai Link to comment

maniac
Wow this is surprising,Stuart Binny-didn't see that one coming but apart from that a WI player and a player of Paki origin-what is the surprise there? Now we know Meyappan and Kundra were obviously involved in the actual process of betting but what is the charge against Srini? Did he facilitate betting or actively partake in it? or did He tried to cover for and save his Son-in-law's a**? Link to comment
