18kashmir1.jpg18kashmir2.jpg18kashmir3.jpg Protests rocked parts of Kashmir Valley including Srinagar on Saturday where Pakistan and Islamic State flags were yet again displayed by masked youths after Eid pray http://www.rediff.com/news/report/pix-a-violent-eid-in-kashmir-islamic-state-pakistan-flag/20150718.htm For all the talks of Pakistan being a failed / Sharia / Mullah / Terrorist state , Kashmiris prefer it over the Secular , Liberal , Incredible, Superpower India. Fact !!!!

^ For that matter, people are migrating to Islamic State from Western Countries... Go figure... One shouldn't be bothered about all these things... You've one life, just enjoy and be thankful of things which.... can't be stated openly...

Ultimately it is their wet dream to have ISIS like conditions where sex slaves from idol-worshipping religion can be paraded to be auctioned in the open market...freedom to taste the nectar of Islamic conquest...and that can't happen when infidels control how the state is run.

Actually no, I think most Muslims genuinely think that they will have something better than democracy if Sharia is implemented. In ideal world, it may be true but in a ideal world democracy or Socialism will be just as good if not better. So they need to understand that human nature will dilute the system. And problem in middle east or Africa is down to their own religion getting exploited by Muslims themselves than Western Democracies

We should start option if someone wants to go to Pakistan' date=' should be let go.[/quote'] Why would they want to leave their homes and go to another city? If that's all they want Indian government would've happily sent them across long back. They want Kashmir to be a part of Pakistan.

One thing I have realized over the years with my interaction with Kashmiris is that they can never be ours. I meant Kasmiri Muslims. They will never consider India as their own country. The sooner India and Indians realize that the better it would be for our country. Kashmiri ppl r so dumb as they don't realize that staying with India they can achieve so much in life. But IMHO, religion overpowers them. My practical solution. 1 Let go Kashmir. I prefer this. This way we will have 10 million less Kashmiris to worry about. Peaceful solution. Keep Jammu and Leh with us. With this solution, we won't have Kasmiris coming into India and spreading terrorism in future. Or 2. Deport all Kasmiris to POk. This is something I would never support as it would require lotsa violence.

I had made some of the points on Kashmir in the "Pakistan Zindabad" thread, however below is a snapshot: Pakistani arguments vs. facts 1. Ind accepts Kashmir is an issue as it went to UN -----> Nehru went to UN to remove Pak for POK (Azad Kashmir and Gilgit Balistan) 2. There should be a plebiscite in Kashmir as per UN resolution. Ind violates UN resolution ----> The first condition to hold a plebiscite as per UN resolution is that Pak remove its armed forces and its nationals from POK. Pak has NOT satisfied this condition and over the years has in fact changed the demographics of the region by a) settling non-Kashmiris in POK and b) driving out the Pandits in J&K .... If Pak believes in plebiscite, it should practice what it preaches and give it to the people of Balochistan 3. Kashmir has majority Muslim population so it should have automatically been a part of Pak ----> The princely states had the option to a) remain independent, b) join India, and c) Join Pak 4. Pak cares for Kashmiris ----> a part of POK (officially Ind's) is donated to China unilaterally .... Below are the protests against Pak's illegal occupation of POK: c5uNP7e0CRE Another good discussion: M-M5L9mo8wU#t=40 5. Kashmir's accession to Ind is not valid ----> Kashmir is a part of India under the same agreement that governs the formation of Pak. If Pak thinks Ind occupies Kashmir illegally, then Pak's formation under similar terms should be questioned as well Basically, it is Pak that is in the docks on Kashmir and is required to remove its forces and nationals from POK (both Azad Kashmir and Gilgit-Balistan). However, as you know portraying Ind as the enemy gives Pak Army the legs to dominate the policies in Pak so why would it want better relationship with Ind :dontknow: Many Pakis talk on Kashmir based on ISI's version of history. They talk about UN resolution, etc. but have no clue on its applicability. Many don't even know that Kashmir issue concerns POK including Gilgit Balsitan

How about killing the separatists whenever they indulge in violence? These Kashmiris are not even 1% of our population. We shouldn't really worry about these jokers who still believe that Kashmir can separated from India. We are a young democratic country. There will be few hurdles in integration. It will take time.

what does one have to say about this when NDTV almost did not cover the incident at all?

barkha dutt ‏@BDUTT Jul 17 Relentless media coverage of handful of Pakistan/ISIS flags in Srinagar makes the fringe look like mainstream. Coverage counter productive
