Vijay Hazare Trophy 2015

Recommended Posts

It does not even look like Rahul can run-in and bowl at 145k, he is a certified trundler now. Even without charging-in Varun Aaron is bowling 135-140k

Even last season's Deodhar trophy, I saw him bowling 135-136K.

Pitch is very slow and no much bounce too.

They left Grass on the pitch to make it exciting but it has backfired with inconsistent pace and bounce, Chinnaswamy should be a flat road at-least for limited overs matches.

grass is left so that pitch does not break as they will be playing back to back games here. But they have not rolled it hard enough or maybe due to low temperatures, soil has become soft.

they are playing nonstop. Shukla has already played 6 FC matches and 7 One day matches in space of 2 odd months. Most bowlers bowl like that within himself to survive the season.

I agree and that is the same thing i have written in the above post, If an Indian fast bowler is not drafted quickly in the national team, he withers away and for a good reason as Fast bowlers are used and abused like donkeys in FC cricket and he has to think about his livelihood. Now, Rahul Shukla may increase his speed to 135k but there is no way he is going to be in the range of 140-145k of 2 years back.

Not good bowling from Aaron and Shukla in the death overs. Aaron still needs to do some work on his accuracy. Both bowling a lot of wides and trying to do too many things. Delhi should have been bowled out for less than 200. Allowed them to end up at 225.

I can not able to post here

page changes to home page

29 extra too much,225 runs easy to chase.3 run out and 3 catches by MSD but Negi played lovely 16 ball innings.(38)

Yeah, he is just jogging in, he charges like a Bull in International matches.

that's what I like about Varun..in international matches he is a bowler who is feared- he has hit many batsmen on helmets and scared .. even edgar was hit thrice in this test series.

he goes all out and even beats Yadav on pace at most times.

He is a thumbs up bowler.

will miss him against Australia.

Navdeep Saini bowling 124 k to 132 k in his second spell. Looking very medium pace too.

He does not have natural pace.

he is young, already gained some pace, from last season.  He needs to see the gym and get stronger.

how was Rishi dhawan today and how is brainder sran doing.

Rishi has a round armish action and which is sometimes a little difficult to pick by batsman that's one reason as to why he picks up so many wickets. normally he bowls between 120 to 130k only and is a traditional trundle but bcos of his confusing action he picks up wickets.

I believe he will certainly like bowling on Australian tracks and is certainly going to be more successful than Binny( as a bowler).

As a batsman he has been always getting good opportunities and hence he should succeed fairly.

he is from himachal so he would always have a lot of stamina and that's going to please Dhoni.. so I see him becoming close to Dhoni.

overall he is bound to succeed and is here to stay.

pandya is good too and is more talented than Rishi. but you know its not always Talent which wins the battle...

Rishi( hard working workhorse) VS Hardik( faster bowler, more hard hitting batsman, more talented)..

lets see who is there to stay and who looses the battle.

Yeah. He needs to work on his fitness.

he is young, already gained some pace, from last season.  He needs to see the gym and get stronger.

I am very skeptical of younger pacers whose slower spells are in the 120s. A bit of a niggle, injury, lack of focus etc. and they would most likely fall back to this speed even if they have a couple of quicker seasons.

Idiotic Indian umpire :whack:

JHA all out for 126

MSD not out for 70

MS it seems has decided that no matter how his team plays, he wants to bat and bat. Bad omens before the Aus series. We want the match winner Dhoni not the accumulator. I hate this batting.

Ishant Sharma was as fast as Varun Aaron in today's match, After the comeback from injury and surgery, Ishant is bowling consistently faster than before.

How did Ishant perform today? Some decent no of wickets?

Does not make difference without Suresh R,who is not  same any more, they have elegant sarfaraz khan and bhuvi I think, but tamilnadu  as good as gold, yesterday punjab looks good to win but unexpected happen and punjab beaten .

Standards of cricket such a low, yesterday one team 9 for 3 now 38 for 4
