Congrats India!

Thanks to the Aussie posters for adding tadka to this well fought series. Seriously this Aussie team has been among the top 5 visiting sides to come to India in the last decade. Much fancier Aussie sides lost here in 2008 and 2010. Congrats to you guys for such a splendid show, you have a very exciting team that can achieve greatness if a few things fall in place. You will be heavy favourites for this year's Ashes, would love to see a 4 pronged pace attack later this year. Just hope we get better pitches in Australia than the patta drop ins of the last few years.

Thanks.Your team overachieved I reckon and were really close to retaining the BG trophy.Once again Warner went missing in a series away from home and that was a big jolt for Aus,considering he and Smith were only two established batsmen of your lineup.

Australia gave us the toughest fight of the season - and did it with a young team, punching above its weight.  Led by a genius freak of a batsman.

Great series.  :hatsoff:to Australian team.

Was one of the best series and I would take such kind of series over the Ind-SA, Ind-NZ or Ind-Eng ones where the opponents simply give up after seeing the pitch or after the toss. Appreciate the Aussie team's spirit and hope they make spicy pitches when India tour Australia :two_thumbs_up:

Great series. Australia was very competitive.

I'm looking forward to the Ashes now with Starc, Cummins and Hazlewood bowling together.

Scoreline may not suggest it but Ind-Eng series was competitive too. At least in 3 matches Eng got into very good positions, and India had to fight back really well to win or draw those games.

But yes this series was extremely close, just half way through the second test Aus almost regained the trophy.

Yes, England pushed us hard as well, much harder than 4-0 suggests.   But the aussies were in position to win the series, multiple times.  And you have to admit that they did it with much poorer batting resources.  Bowled much better than the Poms though.

The best home series I have seen since that Australian Last Frontier tour back in 2001. Almost 16 years and it says a lot. And the teams from 2001 tour had so many superstars.

Regardless, yes England did win here in 2012 but the young Australian team of 2017 probably played tougher.

Kudos and good job Australia!
