Happens to the greatest. Just like a great batsman misses the straight ball at times and gets bowled, which is also a basic batting error. Either way, no one should be offended, be it Dhoni fan group or anyone, if such things are shared. It is there to show how little cricket basics are always important and should be never taken lightly. Important to respect every fielder too. MCcricket Posted May 13, 2017 Share Posted May 13, 2017 (edited) Dhoni perhaps was India's greatest ODi player n wonderful finisher but that was about 8 to 10 years back, he has passed his sell by date by 4 years n is now like mouldy cheese n can never fix it or turn back time. He was a very poor T20 player n surprisingly so coz he played the safe approach like in ODI n lost ability to hit ball at the beginning n needs alot of balls to get going. A poor test match BATSMEN and average keeper , safe but never one to dive n take those catches. In between keeper n first slip. Dhoni has become a joke n should retire, he cannot hit or play or score anymore n infact might be 3 or 4 years older then his official age. Also he did not win anything by himself his team did, in general whenever India won tournaments like worldcup or T20 his record was poor. Dhoni was one lucky guy that's it, right time n right place, as a test captain the worst I have seen.
