He should not be in 50 overs team with this form. If he plays now & fails he may be sidelined for 2 years. May be considered for for few 20 Odis if his starts scoring little consistently.

Worry remains that he didn't do well in England County cricket. In Indian pitches, Pujara does score good amount of runs. So, not a surprise that he is back to scoring runs in India.

You get to know caliber of a player by seeing such innings, not wasting 3 years on Rajkot type of pitches.

I doubt if he will be able to handle Anderson, Broad, Woakes and Stokes. He is one of the best #3 i have seen in Asian conditions, but below average places where ball swings.
