We haven't played 5 specialist bowlers since like 2002.

Pandya does not give 10 overs against better teams.

Someone seriously needs to do analytics like baseball and see if 5th bowler is better or 5,6 or 7.

No. Shankar should play at 4 or 5, then you have the option of him giving you 3 or 4 overs in case someone else has an off day. Pandya is a must in the ODI team. He is irreplaceable IMO.

England  are the clear favorites. In case you did not know England regularly consults with baseball hitters to have more explosive batting. Need to do analytics to find out  what the right combination is.

Nothing. Nada. Zilch. But he is a tremendous athlete and that cannot be discounted. He will have a spot in the team if he can get more variation in his bowling.

They have something called power hitting in nets. They practice that. I have seen a video on that. It builds the core and increases bat speed. Special type of net facility. I hope BCCI have similar facility for top 100 players of IPL allthough I doubt even if our national team has it

^ Cant find it on simple google search. Basically batsman has something tied around his core(waist) which restricts his movement/pulls him backwards while going on front foot and taking massive swing. It was introduced just few years back

With every swing of the bat you need to transfer all the body weight to the ball in a fluid motion.

Tried more. Cant find the facility practice video. As mentioned its a rubber type device which pulls batsman when he is trieng to go on front foot to hit a ball out of park. You can see the result though. All their bats , misshits goes for six

This guy is not no6 or no7, he has to play at no4 or he creates lot of imbalance in the side.

you may disagree but his stats is worst among indian spinner especially when he is touted as 4th bowler in the lineup ahead of chahal. And nothing to said about his batting, i would say he is the most useless cricketer in loi and ct 17 final was final nail in the coffin. Though our nincompoop TM and Sectors again sneak him in the 11 but results are everyone to see, his bowling is even worst than before.
