Both of them belong to Congress party, who also happen to be brothers. So Shehzaad raised this issue that these elections were all farce and it was done only to make Rahul Gandhi the president of INC. He even recorded his conversation with part spokesperson Manish Tewari, where Manish calls the Congress party as a proprietary of Nehru-Gandhis & tells him to be silent for his own good. Shehzaad leaked it in the media and now his brother Tehseen has completely distanced himself from this whole mess and he is not even acknowledging Shehzaad as his brother & broken off the ties. All this happened more than a week ago. After this episode, even PM Modi praised him. Shehzaad says he wants to improve the party by staying in Congress only and surprisingly nobody has taken any action against him till now.

Tehseen is Robert Vadra's brother in law because of his marriage with Monica Vadra, and I think he and Shehzad are cousins. No wonder he chose his wife's side in this matter. You are absolutely right. But Shehzaad himself admitted that they are siblings and claimed that the only time he met Rahul baba was during Tehseen's wedding reception.
