CT F was a massacre, not even a one sided victory. That was a gang(fill in the blanks) by them Pakistani. It reminded me of the RG 2008 F but at least over there I had no illusion about Federer competing with that Nadal.

Actually it will be good if he remains captain and someone tough is appointed coach. And no I am not talking about fake toughness of Shastri.

 

Right now he has too much say and this is going bit over the top. He has alreay conveyed his reservations about Rahul. While it's important to consider captain's opinion about selection, this shouldn't be allowed. 

 

Team needs a balance and someone who can keep players in check. Otherwise selections and catching issues will continue to haunt us.

Finally you blurted it out. I am not anti Kohli, I loved him to bits but something has clearly changed in the last 6 months or so. My posts against Kohli are mainly because of the bolded part and his hyper active PR machinery which is trying to downplay SRT and present Kohli as someone much greater than what he is atm. I can't tolerate jealousy or non cricketing stuff influencing team selection.

I agree jadhav warrants picking over dk . Defo . Jadhav has ability and shown bits and pieces of talent . But in 2018 physical fitness not up to it 

 

but Raul is different level . Test Ton in oz !! Given 2 year solid run easily could be seen as best batsman in world . Overseas back him over any of our players bar a hole kohli

Why ? Their is shreyas who had a good debut. Why would they pick Rahul ? They picked karthick as back up for dhoni. The two knocks were in t20.
