[POLL] Where will Captain Kohli get off the mark?

As you all know he started with a loss in Adelaide, lost in Cape Town and in dire straits here. Where will he get his 1st serious win? Make no mistake Lanka 2015 was a brilliant achievement but we can all agree that we are facing our real test the next 15 odd months.

 

I don't see us winning a single test in SA, we are staring at a 0-3 blowout. Hopefully mistakes will be learnt before our Eng tour. I see Kohli tasting his 1st significant overseas win in Trent Bridge (3rd test).

 

P.S. Eng tour dates are out. Aus fixtures not yet out but Sutherland all but confirmed that Adelaide will host a D/N test and Perth's new stadium will host it's first test match against India. MCG and SCG are a given.

If we back the test specialists and bring in relatively hard to read bowlers such as Kuldeep, we might win a lot more and soon 

 

On this tour, we would need to bank on 2-3 players (Che, Kohli, Pandya, Ashwin, ....) to have an exceptional test (and SA to have a poor one) to pull off a win

Yes, if Kohli manages to get us a lead of 70-80 runs, we will win this test.

I still believe in this test. This pitch is lot similar to Asian pitches and so we can still bundle SA in a session and chase around 200. This time we won't mess the chase. Just need to hold on the catches!!!

If play continues for the rest of the rest, this may be it, but India has to bowl well. Faf and DeVilliers can take the game away if Indians spray the ball. Also you cannot discount Amla. So even though the pitch is hard to bat on, you can’t rule out a SA win.
