Our pacers wrecked their batting supported by Poonam YAdav. This is great win as SA has the best pace attack. good to see Smriti do so well. She always scores at good pace. She had a good challenger trophy where she led her team to a win.

kudos to Smriti. She looked really good in the initial matches during teh WWC.  Pity, India lost the finals as they had a reallly good chance and were at one time cruising towards victory as well.  Golden chance missed

Mandana and Veda are vital cogs for the future now that Mithali is quite old. Kaur will be our trump card but these 2 will have a huge role to play in the next WC.

I haven't checked out Rodriguez yet. Deepti and Raut too are important but with the ever inflating scores in women's shorter format we need Mandana and Veda to get into their elements, others will have their part to play in low scoring matches but if you want to compete with Aus and Eng consistently need Kaur-Mandana-Veda to fire together more often than not.

For deepti I know she has highest score of 189 but whenever I saw her she was batting very slow.

She is very classy and is amazing and she will get better as she grows up

I don't think so. No one has bothered to cover it. BCCI CSA and all broadcasters make big noise about Women's cricket at times but when it is time they are found sleeping. There is a lot of interest and these guys are not taking it up
