Whom do we have as replacements who can chase even 150 at a calm, cruise control pace that Manish showed yesterday? If we have 200 targets, we need the top order to take advantage of fielding restrictions bring the ask to around 8 and then we need MO to do cruise control. We cannot expect MO to score at 10/11 RPO. We don't have such batsmen. Every hoicker wants to bat at the top to use fielding restrictions. Pandey is settling down at #5/#6 and that is kind of batsmen we need at that position. mancalledsting Posted March 13, 2018 Posted March 13, 2018 I've done an entire thread on why the hitman shouldn't open, he'd still be a good middle order player/finisher though. Also let's not go to extremes by comparing with complete hacks like Pandey.
