Thampi is backup for Kaul or if Sandeep is not available to replace Bhuvi or Kaul for few matches. It's very tough for any other Indian pacer to get in that bowling attack. Sandeep was a very wise buy. He leaks less runs and manages to pick 3 fers as well. Good exchange for Siraj. Tom Moody and VVS has done a lot of top class selections for SRH.
