I seriously impressed with Kaul's ability to take wickets. He may not be fast but hits the deck hard with persistent line and length.

Mo$hit Sharma was embarrassing to watch today.

You are comparing kauls bowling on a good bowling pitch to mohits bowling on a batting pitch.

Don't think he will be as effective as Kaul on bowling pitch either. Mohit's bowling does not look natural.

Umesh gets MoM and says in the post match interview that Kohli and Nehra have told him to forget about trying variations and focus on bowling fast , bowling those hard lengths and targeting the stumps.

He said that he was going for runs even when he was trying variations ... and bowling fast was his strength.

This is the right approach for Umesh.

Kohli is a fast bowlers captain and Nehra encouraging Umesh to bowl fast is quite rare with Indian coaches ,Nehra should be roped in for national duty and that rhino bowling coach should be kicked out with immediate effect

Khaleel is really unlucky to be in the same squad as Bhuvi, Kaul, Sandeep and Thampi.   He maybe 5th in the pecking order.

Yes, KKR have a strong lineup as everyone knows. Sandeep is swing backup for Bhuvi and even backup for Kaul. Thampi is backup for Kaul or if Sandeep is not available to replace Bhuvi or Kaul for few matches. It's very tough for any other Indian pacer to get in that bowling attack.

Sandeep was a very wise buy. He leaks less runs and manages to pick 3 fers as well. Good exchange for Siraj. Tom Moody and VVS has done a lot of top class selections for SRH.

Trying to bowl the variation ball has been Umesh's biggest bane throughout his career.

Right on bro! That's what you mentioned about a few days back. Umesh tends to try too many variations and gets hit.

But good thing is there this time there is a mid-tournament transfer window.

I think SRH will give two games each to Sandeep and Thampi if there is a rule that players who do not play 2 matches halfway have to be mandatory transferred.

The pacer I was looking forward to the most in this IPL.    :((

Must have kicked a chair hard seeing how experienced Weenie Kumar  was bowling.

Thought Nagarkoti would get a chance today after Vinay showed all his experience in the previous match. Hope Mavi gets a game today.
