In one way, it is also due to education. The likes of Umesh and Shami, who are skilled but do not come from the same background and do not have education are behind because they have lacked the intellect that Bumrah possesses. While Bumrah may not have the skill and guile of Umesh and Shami, he has a thinking brain. And he uses that. He may not have a great English, but he was studying in college and playing university cricket cricket and then former Vidarbha cricketer Pritam Gandhe saw him bowl in Club cricket. Gandhe was Vidarbha captain when Umesh made his FC debut.

And that does make a difference. Bumrah is a smart kid. Had Dhoni dared speak against Bumrah the way he did against Umesh, I bet there would be consequences. But a choot like Dhoni was able to put such players down because he was able to play his mindgames.
