To be honest, in the last 3-4 years, Dhoni's captaincy in IPL has been weird. Brilliance mixed in with utter chewtiyapa. But that is exactly what dhoni is doing, not saying that he is right, but he is trying to push Jaddu as batsman. Also, its in a way putting his own ass as well as Jaddu's ass on line. Whole world is watching and criticizing him now which they would not have if they would have just used him like previous years. Now Jaddu is just toast as the whole world can watch how bad he is. He cant be sent in top or middle, were ever they can they are sending him. He was given a chance against RCB up...... its not about only batting its also about bowling, he is giving him chance as much as he cud keeping team interest U have to give ur player a chance to do something but keeping in mind its doesnt affect team much. In any case the point of argument was not whether he was backed or not after all jadeja was playing every match without bowling or batting. You made a point that he is giving confidence to Jadeja for greater good of India at the expense of CSK which is crap. Jadeja doing good (not even outstanding) in two or three matches of 14 matches to be played total isn't anything special. Play even Joginder Sharma for all 14 matches he will too do good in a few.
