India could have been 1-0 up in so many away tours if BCCI inexplicably didn't start the tour with a test match. Back does not believe in giving ample time for practice and practice games
Khota Posted May 27, 2018 Posted May 27, 2018 Granted you do need couple of practise games but equally important is the right team too. There is plenty of blame to go around for India's loss to SA.
ravishingravi Posted May 27, 2018 Posted May 27, 2018 It is not that bad. It really good. Three of bowlers have together played only 14 tests. First tour to England and they have dominated this team. Had it been India, collective orgasm of the board would have been hard to take. We must appreciate our neighbors. They might very well get hammered in next tests but for this one they deserve complete credit. And England really seems to be slipping in tests. Stradlater and GoldenSun 2
rtmohanlal Posted May 27, 2018 Posted May 27, 2018 (edited) Full credit to Pakistan team ...This time no controversies of ball tampering etc etc...It's jUst that the bowlers bowled brilliantly. And the batsmen showed 100% application with what ever talent they possess. Each and every player contributed.Lot to learn for the Indians from this performance. Pakistan team provided great importance to practice matches which too benifitted a lot. Our so called super stars who just took practice matches so lightly need to watch this.Kohli and co may be no: 1 team and supporters can chest thump to any levels, but the truth is that we are still so poor abroad bar lower ranked Srilanka and West Indies.Pakistan has always been competitive in ENG and no exception this time too. We need to atleast draw one or 2 series against AUS,ENG,SAF & NZL to prove that we are worth no:1. Moving forward, kick out Pujara for the good,Talented players like Iyer,Gill,Shaw,Pant etc etc are waiting. Edited May 27, 2018 by rtmohanlal

Stradlater Posted May 27, 2018 Posted May 27, 2018 Excellent display of fast bowling. Really impressed by Abbas. He seems like a real deal who could provide the Pakistani attack a much needed stability in the longer format which they seemed to lacking in recent years. Good comeback by Amir as well. Great performance by the neighbors and they deserve all the accolades that come along their way. ravishingravi 1

cric_fan Posted May 27, 2018 Posted May 27, 2018 I am very surprised to see the application and patience of the Pakistani batsmen ,England bowlers didn't bowl badly so scoring 360 odd against this decent pace attack is commendable. Pretty sure our overrated marathas would have thrown their wkt in order to show their intent with slashes and edges . Not too much surprised by pakistan bowling effort ,they bowled similarly at Lord's in 2016 as well and England batting unit is very average against variety pace attack Listen to Mickey’s post match interview. The prep started after the PSL. Green tops were prepared & duke balls were used. They arrived in England & got a couple of warmups. They were mocked for playing a Test match vs Ire here which infact benefited them. The team was more prepared than England. adi B and Gollum 2

I honestly felt the Ireland test was a decent practice game before the main event and it proved to be one !kudos to your side !

LOL abey England team is too fudu, this has nothing to do with Pakistan's preparation or quality, you guys came close to losing a test against Ireland
