very strong Lions side

Very true. Cook, Malan, Bess, Woakes are definite starters for the 1st Test. Possibly even Jack Leach if wicket is a bit dry. Burns and Gubbins are good bats as well. Pope, the young wicketkeeper, is a very good batsman as well and English are hyping him up to be the next big thing. This should be a good test for our bowlers. Think we should go with Rajpoot, Siraj and Saini along with one spinner.

This is the best attack this side has. Can play Nadeem as the lone spinner. Shankar is injured so wont play. will lack the 5th bowling option

Is Hanuma Vihari knocking on the big boy door?  He is young and has excellent FC and List A stats, has shown consistency over the years and is now performing on A-tours under difficult conditions erasing the criticism that all his runs have come against Plate level Ranji competition.  No flash. Just runs.  Why not?

And he also has improved his stroke play over the last year.  Now, he can even claim to be even in ODI side in future.  He had not been picked by any IPL side after his struggles in 2013 and 15. His IPL SR is less than 90 after 22 games, but he has certainly worked on it. Saw him bat in one of the televised Deodhar trophy game and he looked transformed.

Man, he was treating Shami with utter disdain.  But the Indian middle order is so packed with established guys, it is hard to see someone like him crack the line up.

That's almost the England senior side.

And there were also some news that likes of Vijay, Pujara and others from senior side will play for the India A to get used to the conditions.
