That DK drop was criminal, he had no business of attempting that catch, it was going straight to first slip.

not good ,it's abysmal if you consider the fact there were two chances created to catch behind the wkt and we dropped both

Looks like our bowlers know the incompetency of these guys hence they are going for lbw/bowled

Total of around 80 runs due to Rahane/Dhawan dropped catches otherwise target would have been 112-120.

We dropped 15 catches in this series, 2 less than England who were equally atrocious. 

 

Rahane biggest culprit with 4 drops . Dhawan dropped 3 in Edgbaston, missed Lord's and was mercifully kept out of slips in the final 3 tests. KLR was the standout catcher from both teams.

 

Most unlucky bowlers were Shami and Ishant...both had 5 catches (each) dropped off their bowling.

Shami has been unlucky with drops, catches not carrying and many edges going pass through bat. Ishant has improved alot in last few years and bumrah was brilliant.
