ATG Test 11 Pace Bowlers

In ATG Test 11s consisting of retired players, we usually see the pace bowlers from the ones listed in the poll .... who would be your top 3 picks (vote for 3 in the poll)

Barnes is way way back in history.  So I'm excluding him from contention.  I'd go with Marshall, McGrath and Ambrose.

 

Lillee was good but the other guys were smarter, better bowlers.

Akram is usually in ODI 11s, if I m not wrong .... but will add him to the poll

Voted for mcgrath,marshal and ambrose .ambrose was my favourite fast bowler along with bond

We can also discuss Hadlee vs McGrath as it is usually an interesting topic. In the discussions and polls that I have seen in past, Hadlee often edges out McGrath so let’s see how things go here

IMO picking fast bowlers is the toughest thing in an All Time World XI....batsmen/WK/AR/spinners are so easy. However there are at least 12 legendary quicks fighting for those 3 spots .

Steyn is still playing .... Garner though a candidate is usually not in many ATG 11s .... the poll is from the usual suspects
