So you're saying a lineup that was outbowled in SA, Eng, one that always does well in Asia, not in Aus or NZ is the best in the world? How did you deduce the best ever, invisible inference? CG Posted August 19, 2018 Posted August 19, 2018 Offcourse India has spinners and fast bowlers ,good swing bowlers and a good wrist spinner.Allround it's the best attack .

CG Posted August 19, 2018 Posted August 19, 2018 Because SA regularly outbowl us in 5 or 6 nations outside Asia, yet we are the best?Sa struggled in eng. With Morkel gone Steyn struggling with injury,Philander on last legs.Sa will struggle except rabada who is best bowler in world.

Yes because they didn't have Philander, Steyn, AB and Rabada - in one of the tests. Do you honestly believe SA first choice attack is worse than India on all surfaces?

Decentish, they did better than Aus who were Starc or bust. This was also the first tour for everyone bar Steyn and Philander. They had the same problem as India, batters were crap.

The results are highly conditions dependent, also scoreboard pressure. Had we played one more pacer instead of Kuldeep, things could have been different there too. England were 130/5 when playing twp spinners proved a blunder.
Clarke Posted November 30, 2018 Posted November 30, 2018 Bump Imtehan ki ghadi aa gayi Best bowling attack struggled against Aus C, lets see how it does against Aus B in the tests.
Vijy Posted November 30, 2018 Posted November 30, 2018 (edited) If Aus and SA had all their pacers in peak form, they are better in my book. Pattinson, Hazelwood, Cummins and Starc versus Steyn, Rabada, Lungi and some random 4th pacer. Pak pacers did pretty badly in Oz and I feel Eng has too many allrounders but not enough genuine all-round pacers barring Anderson. Would put India at 3 (in the best case scenario).
