Ehsan Mani (India Hater) to replace Najam Sethi

Ehsan Mani a known India hater is set to take over the reins of PCB. I think with Imran khans election i was hopeful the relationship between PCB and BCCI would improve. I am not so sure Ehsan Mani old stance would help. I still think it is overall a big positive that Imran is the new PM. When I am not in a troll mode I really do admire Imran. Good man. Not so sure of Mr. mani though.

We aren’t playing Pak in a bilateral series anytime soon. Pak never votes with India anyways so how does it matter?

That is correct. They don't vote with India anyway as you pointed out. Probably it does not matter in the long run.

Looks like a competent person. I thought Sethi was doing a good job too. Anyway i hope you guys are happy, it does not affect us. I do like the choice of IK as the PM. Good guy but needs to think before he speaks.

What was wrong with Sethi? 

I thought He did a solid job with PSL and trying to bring back Cricket to Pakistan.

I remember this Mani guy used to be ICC head when I first started watching the game.

Had a personal tiff with IK since a long time, as Najam Sethi was close to Nawaz everybody knew he'd be removed once IK comes to power.

The way Pakistanis are celebrating you would think he was mired in corruption cases like his formal boss.

While I can't vouch for his integrity, I was mightily impressed by the efforts he undertook to make teams tour Pakistan.

Looks like everyone against of Imran automatically becomes a deshdrohi in the parosi land these days.

Mani is the kind of guy who will oppose anything proposed by BCCI. if tomorrow BCCI proposes next world cup be held in Pak, Mani will call it indian conspiracy to defame pak and vote against the proposal.

Najam was much better than his predecessors & worked really well to conduct PSL & bring it home (at least for few matches), making other teams tour Pak as well.
His actions indicate that he's a despo fellow to somehow get a IndoPak series in a neutral venue even when the atmosphere wasn't suitable for it. His multiple tours to India meeting BCCI's top brass & literally begging for it has earned him the ire of many Pak fans. As he was part of that establishment, the reactions had been much more compounded. 
Now IK is in power, let's see what they do for all the claims they've made for Pak cricket

This is good development. Sethi was desperate to arrange India Pak matches and was being helped by Manohar, against the wishes of BCCI.

With Mani in place, no such issues...

I am giving him benefit of doubt. Some of his statements don't make sense butt compared to other Pakistani cricketers IK is the more likable one. Let us atleast be open minded for sometime and assume he means good.

When they want sports to continue all they want is Indian money. If no monet changes hand I doubt they would like to play India. India is a cash cow.
