Jaddu must come in for next match irrespective of this result. Ashwin couldn't assess the pitch and bowled at the wrong pace and length. Was also obsessed with overspin. What it needed was fast spin and bit of side spin into the rough. I bet someone like Jaddu or God even Axar would have been more effective. It was a pitch where you had to do little except land it in the correct area. Ashwin was too full or short. No wonder he had an orgasm over the Stokes dismissal, probably thinking how the hell did a full ball be guided straight to the lone flying slip. He was ****. That and Pant/Pandya/Ashwin being dismissed in the first innings by Ali really stopped us getting a 70+ run lead which would have made a huge difference.

 

I hope Kohli gets a ton here and Rahane 50. Then we will win. We can do it...

I disagree. if you just try to block block, eventually wicket will fall. Take the Sehwag approach and try to hit the spinner. Yes you might get out but runs will come as well.
