Series being lost, team still has to be positive by replacing the flops and give chance to debutants.Sticking to players who have lost it won't help the cause.Their negative mindset might make it 4-1.

Yeah I agree but that was my opinion to maybe try him at 5 and see if he's comfortable .He needs some confidence because he'll be a guaranteed starter in the test line up for India

Don't like this comforting a player in a number is a good idea and also Rahul has opened throughout so far but he needs to sort out his game.

Shaw should play in place of Dhawan. Give KL one last chance. Give one of the fast bowlers a break and rest Ashwin. Play Umesh and Jadeja.

He has been discarded after just 2 or 3 bad test matches after a 300+.  And was dropped in the very next test after his 300+.
