It's a Do or Die match for SL. 

 

I am expecting SriLanka to win this one, you can never count Afg out from these type of condition where their star spinners could cause serious problem for the lankans.

Can SL batsmen outplay this guy?

Afghanistan’s batting is weak but their bowlers are really good.

Sl team never looked threatening. However they always punch above their weight. Malinga was quite extraordinary against BD after his return. Could trouble afgan batsmen

It's not T20. SL has to play really bad to lose to Afg. SL just needs to play sensibly, not rushing through things like their batsmen did against BD.

Their bowlers lost their plot against BD they are a good team.

This Asia Cup is very interesting as the pecking order among the Asian teams is changing. Bangladesh in ODIs are decent now and are moving up ahead of SL. Afghanistan in T20s are probably moving up fast. This is their opportunity to become consistently good in ODIs where opposition can be more careful against their spin strength and try to milk them. Their batting weakness gets exposed more in longer format.

Lankans hv dropped 3 catches in first 10 overs of both the matches.   I wonder if Arjuna Ranatunga is their fielding coach.  ??

The one thing you relied upon srl even during their bad phase was "minnow bashing " but they have lost even that x factor now and teams like bangladesh and Afghanistan might cause a upset .

Srl of old would have steamrolled Afghan and bangla boys
