If shaw is still not available, we don’t have choice but to stick with him. A new batsman would/could sturggle in game 3. Having persisted with Rahul for this long, we are better of giving him

this full series. He might click next game. 

 

If Mayank was in the squd I would habe tried, but I rather just give another game to Rahul

Hope his form continues into the ODI series. KL Rahul is a dangerous player when on song. Completely lost form when he wasn't given a continuous run of games.

Thought Rahul was back in form given his couple of good knock in domestics, but yesterday he batted too slow for the situation and messed up a chance of making a contribution on another comeback. On other hand Shankar is trying to grab the spot in whatever few opportunities that he is getting
