state of russian economy is far better now  than it was earlier ..

and its sphere of influence is grown from 1990s eventhough both eu and us tried to contain it ..

and coming back to trump .. china is/was screwing usa through unfair trade polices for decades and nobody in usa gave a jack..

now after trump started his trumpy thing by leving import duty on chinese imports , they are falling in line ..

if you want some idea leader , develop a time machine and go back to sriram or mahabharatha days ..

one additional benefit is , you can go back and watch sachins batting live on your way back to sriram days :phehe:

anyway , create a poltiical thread in chit chat ..

Rising tide & all.

Because there was no independent Russia pre 1990, it was the USSR. If we aren't being pedantic about the Soviet influence then NO the Russian influence has greatly reduced throughout the world, especially in Central Asia & Eastern Europe.

No, only corporation don't give a jack. The working class always opposed offshoring jobs, before that it was Japan as the proverbial enemy.

That's a good thing totally support that move, in fact Modi should learn from Trump & understand if you give an inch to China they'll take everything you own & then they'll own you!

No real evidence of such historical figures described as is in the two Epic tales.

russia is nowhere close to ussr when comes to influence , but russian economy withstood tougher times , and the recent sanctions on them have no significant impact on the population ..

i see no point in importing teddy bears and plastic toys from china .. considering our  trade imbalance with china , we are exactly in a similar situation as usa when comes to importing stuffs from china ..

once in a whole we levy anti-dumping duties vs chinese products ( like 30% import duty on chinese tires )  but china doles out huge bonus for exports .. somewhere i read that chinese companies can export a product even at a signifcant loss , because chiese government covers them

Actually it's worse for India, the US imports a lot of products with US or western tech & that's where the biggest imbalance comes from. While India has no homegrown tech, let alone made in China with our own tech.

Definitely but the thing is govt has doled out this "Make in India" farce when in fact it should have been "Made by India" - just force these companies to form a local JV like they do in China. Steal their tech & get set for the future, this is the only way to stop China - do as they've done, not what they say i.e. respect China!

Mohammed Shami to Lyon, 1 run, back of a length close to off stump, stabbed to Jadhav at backward point. No run was available, and they weren't going for one, but Jadhav throws to the batsman's end anyway. Would have been okay if the midwicket fielder had backed up properly, but Rayudu fumbles and Stoinis gets back on strike

Adding to the log

This was ridiculous! It was going straight to him. And it is not like it was off the bat with some pace on it, it was just a throw.

Continue to add it to the opening post... so we have it all together in one place
