Shankar has got some potential. So i won't judge his overall bowling skills. Plays swing, slower ball, raw pace, spin better than some of the guys we have. Overall a decent player. But he is not a sehwag. Let us not forget that.

I agree, not an all rounder at all but has some batting potential atleast for ODIs right now but he needs to come at 4 or 5 to make an impact

no one is sehwag neither can be

Shankar is a gr8 option for someone who can anchor n play shots in between

It's actually Sharma who needs to kick on, Shankar hit 4 boundaries in 5 overs in PP while Sharma just 3 in 6, not to mention he's looking like he wants to anchor the innings in such a chase? Why is Sharma playing so safe!

let hitman shield one end ..

43 off 28 not bad honestly, Shankar can be a really good backup of kedar or evn pandya. In case pandya give another interview before WC (karke aaake) lmao

or he shud replace rayudu, he aint a good backup for kedar or pandya as those 2 lower order hitter and shankar is more of middle-top order batsman
