Steyn played first test.  ABDV played 3 ODIs, we won two of them, lost one.

AB was the difference , like Kallis was in 2011.Without these two India would have won both series.But if want to be the best you have to beat the best.India was not good enough in both cases.

I am comparing them for spot in Indian team. I don't think both of them can crack the Indian team.

Stokes easily , if stokes was in India,....pandya cud have easily played domestic for few yrs before graduating to test level. Stokes will get into any team of world currently
