Should foreign stars who played PSL be allowed to take part in IPL?

Should we make players choose between IPL and PSL?

  1. 1. Should we ban the players?

    • Yes, ban them from this year's IPL edition to send a warning
    • Life ban from any IPL related activity, this includes future commentary gigs, coaching, consultancy etc
    • No, let them play PSL
  2. 2. Should the ban apply to non-players (websites, sponsors, commentators, coaches etc) involved with PSL?

@MechEng Do you think international sporting boycott of apartheid South Africa was fair or not?

Do you think a govt actively supporting global jihad is as worthy of contempt as what South Africa did to its non-white population?

I don't remember how severe aparthied was because I wasn't born in that era.

Yes I do support contempt against a government sponsoring jihad which is why I am okay with us boycotting all Pakistan games in international cricket. Pakistan has a limited life unless it changes it's priority from hating Hindus to building their own country positively. So you don't need to worry much about them to be honest.

But let's not drag franchise cricket into this. IPL is a business and players display their big hitting talent for money. We have already banned Pakistani players in IPL so our stance is clear, but imposing a sense of fear in folks like Lynn, AB D, Gayle, Buttler and etc. is not a good example set by us.

To be honest, BCCI is disliked because English cricket has lost the sense of imperialistic power ever since IPL became big.

BCCI has been big and bigger way before  IPL. Ever since the markets opened up in the 90's, the corporates realized the huge potentials of India. Lucky for them, Sachin was playing in that era.

Since then, BCCI has done a lot of arm twisting and consequently it is disliked by most other boards. Make no mistakes about it.

Since when has this group become a hate group?

These players are highly talented world players. IPL can try these tactics and the end of the day, it will be left with no one but Indian domestic players. And the whole sheen about IPL will go.

How would one feel if Indian players are not allowed in English county?

Ok IPL can lovelingly put in clause that they can not play in PSL and that is one of the criteria connected to their bonus payout of hike etc.

With love lolz.

It not hate to let a strategy playout. Hit pak at all costs.

Our ministers, Lok/Rajya Sabha & generals/admirals/Marshalls have to do their jobs, cricket admins can't take up the entire burden of troubling padosi land :p:

On the cheeky side, one could schedule IPL at the same time as PSL. Let's see who goes to play here vs there as well as overall viewership :weights:

Even if there is some ICC mandate on league schedules to not overlap, we can make that exception possible as opposed to banning them from cricket. Looks like another great mind already mentioned it above :nice:
