flamy
Bhuvi's form is a real worry But, I think ODIs, and England would be different. Before IPL, Bhuvi actually bowled well, so we should not get too carried away by IPL form either
ShoonyaSifar
Dhawan has been given a role in DC line up full of young batsmen to be consolidate an d he is doing that alright. Rohit looked good in the last match. These two will continue to score runs. Our problem is numbers 4,5,6. Shankar has been a huge positive, gradually stepping towards sealing the number 4 spot. Pandya at 7 looks in good hitting form, his bowling will always be on and off. Dhoni remains the worry. His presence also forces us to play {Pant as a specialist batsman which almost makes it impossible for him to adjust and perform. Rahane scored big yday, a couple of more knocks and he is going to the WC.

speedheat
Dhoni is bigger liability against genuine pace than just spinners. Anything above 137kph+ and he starts lunging. Edited April 2, 2019 by speedheat

Dhawan struggles with pace too. Lockie totally troubled him in NZ. Laaloo
vvvslaxman
Is there any player who has no weakness and taken on any bowlers? Even Kohli has issues against leg spinners. To make matter worse we have a hopeless limited overs captain.

He has the game to survive and also pick odd boundaries rotate strike. To maximize this he has to be a bit more selective.

Needs 1-2 scores of 50+ to boost his confidence and show that he can play the long innings if required

Atleast M Vijay had a couple of good series before becoming another guy who consistently threw away starts. That is karthik's entire career. He is a little too influenced by the perception that he is a "big hitter". He should not think he is Andre Russell, and just play his shots. And, he is 28. So, he does have experience, if not international. Can't keep on using that excuse.
