This is the third time in a row he has undone our top order. Can't these morons find a way to deal with it? Like standing way outside the crease, or keeping the pad away from the ball. Under these conditions, it always looks like a matter of time. Rohit got out similarly against Amir. Even though he sucks with wicket-taking these days, he could do the damage again. Our top 3 has issues against the balls that curve back. When will this stop being an inevitability?  Kohli wanted to "test" his batting first in these tough conditions so he opted to bat first. Doesn't he know they have been playing cricket for 12 years and never showed any technique against swinging balls? What is there to test?

I don't recall us playing an odi on a green surface.

How about a surface offering assistance for the first 20-30 overs to seamers until the moisture dries out or the cloud cover is gone ? I just can't recall Kohli holding fort, even Dhoni has done that.

 

He may be a run machine on flat tracks but he isn't the adaptive player with solid defence that our previous best bats were.

  On a spicy pitch all 3 are vulnerable. Kohli is probably less than Rohit and Dhawan. But he finds a way to get out. May be India should rethink of batting order in such conditions.  When your best of the best bat at no.3  and 4,5,6 don't have the capacity to resurrect after a top order collapse then we have to shed the ego and  do something different.

Moronic bating. Regardless of surfaces, India will face the moist weather, especially when batting first where it swings for the first 10 overs or so. And that will be our undoing for sure. Worst thing is we don't have batting after #3 once that happens. Heck even Bangladesh and Afghanistan have better middle orders than us

Frankly speaking indian and assian batters make him looks great or else he is not that devastating bowler. Swing or no swing it all depends on ones shear determination and playing against all odds and our batsmens are complete fissaddi in that.
