Hope you understand why he is in the squad. if someone like Kohli and Rohit could bowl like Maxwell and Root India would not even need 6th bowling option. You need to have ability to hit a hundred or big score when you walk in early. He has no ability to rotate the strike. With such a long tail you need someone who can play multiple roles like building an innings and taking on the bowling. It is all about taking on the bowling in one dayers as you saw today with Dhoni and KL Rahul. You need to groom a proper batsman. Link to comment
