Shankar is the only one all rounder going by his recent record in one dayers.

But you need a player who can be used as a 6th bowler. Even with so many all rounders like Maxwell, Stoinis , Aussies are trying out Smith as an option. Same way Root is trying to bowl. They are looking for 7th bowling option. But we need 6th if possible 7th bowling given how our spinners can be targeted.
