Jaddu bowled well... Justified his selection. You cannot have wickets and pretty slow run rate. NZ batsmen have done everything to not lose wickets...

Both guys bowled well. Its horses for courses. Stop hating on the guys too much. Kohli and management have played enough cricket, more than you and me to know who needs to play for a big game. They did not pick a player from the street of India for the game. They picked based on seeing the conditions. And what is the result? They have both bowled well today.

Still doesn't justify the exclusion of Shami.

It does, on such pitches, Bhuvi is better. That is what justifies.

Actually, I would have played KD in place of DK. Kohli has gone too defensive with our batting lineup and risking in match injury which may cost us a game. We are lucky that Pandya still bowled well.

If Kohli wanted to go defensive with our line up, he could have played Jadhav and made him ball and not bring Jadeja whose batting can't be trusted. This move is solely to use Jadeja as a bowler who is going to save runs and might get some runs. Nothing more. If Jadeja scores 30-40 its a bonus. If anything, it san attacking movie to drop Jadhav who was mainly picked so that he could bowl some overs and help us play one less spinner.
