Yes that edge was ugly. Best part he is only 24 will get better. We have to give him a long rope.

Even if he had won that SF game i still would not have enjoyed. Even before world cup he made his 100s an inevitability.  He is too clinical to generate interest anymore. But somebody has to do it right. He is doing it.

Kohli keeps on scoring these meaningless 100s but has not yet delivered  for India in big spots.

Pandya and Pant should bat at 6,7.  Top 5 should be proper batsmen who could rotate strike, score big.

He is scoring a 100 every 5 games. No mean feat. His failure is a blot for sure.  But that is more to do with  technical issue. Getting out to left arm seamers repeatedly in crunch games. Johnson, Amir, Boult. He has to work on his offside game against left armers. He tries to go across the line and gets out. Somehow same shots work well in bilaterals. Not in crunch games.

I can't give him benefit of doubt , he has stats of great odi batsman but they are hollow.

No benefit of the doubt. But he has issues against left armers. He keeps running into them in the knockouts. I expect him to continue finding ways to get out to them

He failed in semi finals. Doesn't mean it is okay for him to score ducks, 20s. He is still representing the team India. Doing the hard yards. He could have scored a 50 and got out nobody would have said anything. He is giving his best.  Doesn't matter how insignificant you think it is. It is still an international match.

Shreyas looking good so far today. I am hoping he seizes the opportunities that come his way this series.

Iyer should be given a run. But with Kohli you never know. He thinks they are not specialists.

coz iyer has played more FC n A-tour.....he has more experience and pant has a range of shot that iyer doesnt posses so iyer depends on his shots n iyer singles n double to break pressure. Pant will get better with time
