YUSER_ Posted September 29, 2019 Posted September 29, 2019 We have too many pakistani hindu refugees living in four or five states
YUSER_ Posted September 29, 2019 Author Posted September 29, 2019 Most of them are unskilled labourers their service can be used in infrastructure development
MechEng Posted September 29, 2019 Posted September 29, 2019 It all has to be gradual, first the state must have a robust economy.

Hindu refugees from Pakistan are Indian...if we are delaying citizenship by even one day, we are doing injustice to Hinduism i.e. our own religion. Gollum, sergio04, speedheat and 1 other 4

Gollum Posted September 29, 2019 Posted September 29, 2019 Kashmir may be difficult for a while...those *ers don't accommodate even Muslim migrant workers from UP, Bihar, Bengal. Start with Jammu and Ladakh, mainly the former. Push them up gradually, our jawans will first take care of the valley troublemakers. Need to push the Pakistanis out from there and ensure normalcy for a few years. Not worried about economic opportunities, JK has enough potential and also demand for infrastructure. Muloghonto 1

After all , trying to attain 100 straight away from 'zero' would only bring in negative results, so one step at a time is the way.
Sean Bradley Posted October 1, 2019 Posted October 1, 2019 We have enough Sindhis living in the country already, and assuming that being Hindu means they are loyal towards India and the vice versa is a Juvenial thought. I have had some Sindhi friends (Hindus) who were hardcore Pak supporters, and also known few Indian Muslims as die hard patriots. So this idea of giving Pakistani Hindus a refuge in Kashmir is good, but that does not guarantee loyalty and patriotism.
Moochad Posted October 1, 2019 Posted October 1, 2019 I think it is a good idea, so long as they go there voluntarily. Any new businesses there have to give them job opportunities before they can comfortably settle.

The very basis of Pakistan was to create a land of Muslims. Hindus have no place there. India needs to accept all Pakistan origin Hindus as their own and settle them as India is their Home
mishra Posted October 1, 2019 Posted October 1, 2019 india can not deny Pakistani based Hindus a home, simple as that.

So one of the counter argument I hear is India is a Secular country and we can't give refuge based on religion, yes i agree we can't change our core values. However we are the only Hindu majority country which can taken in people who are struggling to maintain their Hindu identity . These guys have no other takers. We have to be open and biased towards these people. Edited October 2, 2019 by jf1gp_1

India should welcome every one (Sikh, Christians, Jains, Budhdhists) who wants to come to India as long as he isnt a Muslim as Pakistan is Holy Land for Muslims. Arguement against Muslims of Pakistanis on basis of Partition and religious persecution of minorities Edited October 2, 2019 by mishra
