massive blame to Captain vada pav butter chicken puran chi poli Rohit for picking a 3 man bowling attack in a series deciding game.

There are hardly any options available in the squad.
There is Khaleel who could be replaced by Thakur who is equally bad.
Krunal is replaced by Manish Pandey who did well with the bat with his little cameo.

It was a risk to have Dube to bowl 4 overs but then when he was given that confidence and support, he deliverd the goods. So, overall it was not a bad decision as it looks to play with this bowling attack and they pulled it off too.

Only contignency plan they should have had is what if Chahal has an off day. Although Chahal had his off day, Chahar was so good that he compensated for both Cha*s.

Sunny was making his point about away games. Clarke was playing at home in that game.

It is not always easy for the audience at the ground to read the names on the back of the jerseys anyway. Especially if the player is batting or fielding inside the circle. Unless the player is shown on the giant screen which is not often.

For TV audiences it doesn't matter if it is a home or away game. Nicknames will be initially confusing and will be later cleared up through commentary or internet info.

and people wanted rohit to replace virat as captain lol.

Field placements utterly crap through out the series.

persisted with dhawan n khaleel even though both have been pathetic.( rohit is supposed to be some adventurous risk taking captain)

Dubey as a 5th bowler.

Had it been Virat, we would have had 100s of threads baying for his blood here.

Now you understand why ppl want Rohit to replace Virat.... You stopped responding altogehter to @SK_IHs comment after the match.

Rohit could still make India win from that position which most fans lost hope. Except under Dhoni, I rarely ever remember winning a match while  defending a target when the situation is so much in favor of batsmen.

Most home audiences know their cricketers. With internet, it is very easy. For opponent's names, many people don't know their original names let alone their nicknames

Yup rohit deserves credit he won with his team from a loosing situation with non experienced bowlers who were struggling with dew. Its easy winning when u have bumrah n all but winning with new bowlers deserves credit

I get your point but this constant jibe at players for having their nick names or abbreviated names on jerseys by Gavaskar is irritating as hell..isko T20 me commentary nahi karne dena chahiye..

I agree. He could have just said Biplop is his nickname in case you are wondering if he wearing someone else's jersey and left it at that. There was no need for him to criticize.
