this is what i have been writing about-

When India has so many guys capable to bowl 145+....

Why cant our coaches try to ONLY COACH 140K + Pacers for state level .

Even trundlers will take wickets and even medium pacers will take wickets - as when a batsman is hitting a shot , he may hit against any one and can get Out.

why should we consider that as a criteria ..just taking wickets..if you will ask a trundler to play for your team , he will only take wickets.

teams have to take a strong call - select pacers who bowl at an average speed of at least 136k OR 138K and only then pacers will try to get wickets. Else bowlers will worship Harshal / BHuvi as one has to pick wickets - how you get it is not important. at international level- batsman consider these trundlers as Slow medium pacers and play from the mid Pitch and their only Skill( swing) is negated. fast bowler at this stage will try to hit the batsman's body and batsman will be forced to go back.

create fastish Pitches and then select FAST bowlers in even state teams.trust the fact that a fast bowler will take more wickets than a trundler in the Long run.

coaches- train guys who are fast or can become fast bowlers

Gurnoor Singh Brar from Punjab. Tall guy 6'4" and fast.

This guy is probably your best " find " for a long time.

Quick fuller balls ... quick short balls ... and he looks really quick and tall.

He is just 22 years now.

When will he play regularly for Punjab ? Played just 1 List A game.

Hope some IPL.franchise spots him.
