More like PCB not having brains to avoid venues where a washout is obvious.

You gotta understand - they don't have Indian money coming in for a decade - babus still kept stealing, but they let the grounds and facilities go to absolute sheiit since no matches were being held.  I would be surprised if Pakistan has more than a couple of venues worthy of hosting international cricket, especially tests.

I thought PCB would have made nice infra/facilities , as Intl cricket has returned to Pak after almost a decade. However, it's the other way round.

PCB has made following blunders:

1) Poor selection of the venue

It's snowfall season. Which cricket board in the world, at this time of the year, would schedule test at a venue close to the Himalayas , and that too without floodlights ?. :phehe:

2) Pathetic Ground Facilities

I watched the highlights of Day 1.  The entire ground looks like brownish barren land.   Coupled with extremely poor drainage facility.

Overall, bad publicity for not only Pak cricket but also test cricket overall.

Lack of revenue should not be an excuse for the PCB, coz all they needed to do was to maintain a couple of stadiums worthy of hosting test matches.  In a country where cricket is the dominant sport, it is not really that tough.  All this hints at the massive corruption/mismanagement in PCB from top to bottom.

these poorkies trapped the Lankans into playing tests in their terror home  as a matter of 'thanks giving'   for playing those ODIs & T20s.  Even whether GODs seem charged up  by the 'extremely decent manner' in which  poorkies  thanked the Lankans  for accepting to tour their terroristan  after 10 years. poorkies would be lucky if the 2nd test too  doesn't get washed out.

Stfu dikhead.

Crap stadium, crap outfield, crap facilities... chalen hain test match host karne Aus or Eng ke saath.

They dont realise players these days are used to playing in top notch stadiums and cities... not some 50's relic like Rawalpindi with crummy facilities and hotels.

Bhau tere se nai hoga

Well this isn’t India or Aus where Test cricket is played regularly dohhhh
