On hetmeyer... This guy is miles above pant when it comes to stroke play.. looks easy on the eyes & has evry shot in the book.. only issue is in his temperamenta..

sometimes tries to go murdering the ball from the start go.. when he doesn't even need to.. in today's inning he was batting over a stike rate of 100 from the set go.. without breaking any sweat.. no ugly leg side hoicks a la pant.. no fidgeting early on innings..Jst plain authoritative stroke play.. he was picking his bowlers today.. going berserk on jadeja, dubey to hand his team an advantage..

Hitmyer is miles ahead of Pant in ODI’s and T20’s. I think he can succeed in Tests too. He is a 100 in a session material. Exciting !!!

Pandya has to be fourth seamer not the third seamer.Ideally they have to play three seamers plus Pandya plus Kulcha. This is best bowling lineup but it makes batting weak that is the lack of balance in this Indian team.

Ideally no team is playing today with 5 genuine bowling options.. evry team has Atleast one pie chucker to bring balance in the team... Australia has stoinis, new Zealand had grandhome & for England..This is why england excels because they have quality all-rounders in terms of stokes, moali, rasheed & woakes.

I wonder this is why Shai Hope's strike rate is in the 70s. When you've got guys like Hetmyer , Pooran, Lewis etc , all he has to do is hold the innings together. Like how Root does for England.

Playing calmly and holding one end up seems to be his assigned role. His SR looks ordinary but is very much adequate in helping his team in the context of the game. OTOH, our TM chucks out experienced batsmen from tests because they bat slow!

What England has is multiple allrounders who are far better bowlers than Indian bits and pieces bowlers. So calling Indian bits and pieces bowlers as allrounders is ridiculous.

You need multiple allrounders like England and WI have not two bits and pieces like what India has in this match or in their system.IMO for India playing five wicket taking bowlers plus Pandya works best.Batsmen have to do more.

West Indies has been bringing on an eye opening surprise to indian team management... These guys hv considerably improved their singles game.. these two are taking one & two .. rotating stike at will to main bowler.. while going hammer & tonk over pie chuckers.. perfect set for odi game play..

Gone are the days where west indies batsmen would perish in a haste trying to hoick evry other ball out of the ground.. without any innings building capability like rotating strike..

Meanwhile indian team strike rotation has gone to the dogs of late... Thala dot ball virus has dug deep into indian team's nervous system..

Cricket is cricket....if u want similar result a similar process needs to be followed. Hetymer has been **** for an year yet WI have backed him n made him feel secure

You don't back **** player in the name of backing, India does not have anyone worth backing in the middle order.

Cricket is not cricket, circus is not equal to acutal international cricket.

Kohli was elated when he won the toss and decided to bat first said a lot of things like ..its not all bang bang. You have to make partnerships in the middle and it’s a long format. Well guess what..they are bossing it at the moment and only a miracle can prevent them from going 1 up.
