How many tough knocks? KL has got enough backing from the team. If he is not performing, should be dropped. And his T20 exploits can't be an excuse for putting him in ODIs when Mayank and Gill who are more deserving than him.

Technique is over-rated, temperament is everything. Wish we had Iyer in place of DK in the WC SF.

He did fine in wc and got dropped no excuse for that

Wish we had invested time in iyer in place of rayudu pre Wc.....rayudu got some easy series that time like WI n all

MC manju and gavaskar still busy in praising Iyer and talking about how pant doesn have game of Iyer to play at less dot ball percentage. While that may be true but at least today praise both these youngsters and really don't need to demean one to make another look better.

They have sent Jadhav just to suck life out of the Indian innings and make Pant play those wild hoicks out of frustration

Iyer's lowest score in ODIs till now has been 9 & 18. In rest of the innings he has looked pretty comfortable & made 5 half centuries. 

The same guy was branded by a few esteemed ICFers of being a HACK not long ago. Its ironic that we would love to have a player such as ABD in our side but don't want him to be unorthodox.
