India vs Australia Test Series 2020-21

India to play 4 match test series in Australia. India will be playing a day/night match at Adelaide.

 

The series will start with the opener at the Gabba on December 3 followed by the day-night Test in Adelaide on December 11 before the two traditional Tests at Melbourne and Sydney on either side of New Year's Eve. India is also likely to play three ODIs in January in Perth, which misses out on a Test, Sydney and Melbourne. Kohli & Co were originally scheduled to arrive here in early October to play a T20I tri-series involving the West Indies. But that series would now depend on whether the ICC decides to go ahead with the T20 World Cup after their meeting on Thursday (May 28).

Also D/N, they have too much playing experience there. Once we are 0-2 down it may get really ugly.

Yes makes a lot of sense. Far easier to organise one team coming to a country than 16 in this situation

2014 we never should have lost there, choked hard after we had them on the mat (1st innings they were 160 behind with 6 wickets down on D3 morning). Spectacular day 1 100 by Vijay, even better than the Dada one.

This series will be very imp for pujara n rahane, m sure aussies will come gunning for pujara this time . Rahane if fails here well he shud be shown the door, pujara still is gold in subcontinet but his overseas performances will be under scanner with another failure.

This series will also test fitness of ashwin n shami. 

I really hope we fit rahul, gill in squad as we need good players of pace n bounce, he scored a 100 in his 2nd test in australia only. 

Saini shud be a must to counter smith, even im sure they ll take umesh yadav

Need Bhuvi for the daynight test. In day night test the new ball swing is most important. Our bowling failed the most with the new ball in New Zealand
