Would be interesting to see how he does against a better quality bowling attack but temperament wise he looked good. No nervous poking around or tentative shots. He grabbed the chance he got with both hands.

Made merry against some pedestrian seam bowling while also struggled a bit to the ball leaving him, which we all knew already from the Ranji games. On flat tracks, this guy and Rahul opening will be blockbuster stuff.

    I hope     we get to see two types of attack from pace bowlers to him ASAP and see how he copes .

   1. RM pace Bowlers go around the wicket and pitch it around off stump and move it away or straighten it at above ave pace but not too full . Has a  long reach so too full he may be able to hit it down the ground . Right now he seems poke  at it weakly. Better starts to defend and try to get a single than attack and get out .

   2. Short stuff coming to right shoulder or above at good pace . 

     These could be weak points but once he experiences such attack obviously he will work them out to a decent level and then should be in A team.
