SecondSlip
Rahul Tripathi is the only player that can be written off. He’s a failure even in domestic cricket and should consider himself very lucky to even have an IPL contract. We have much better batsmen than him who went unsold in the auction that can easily outperform him in the top order such as Abhimanyu Easwaran, Ricky Bhui, Hanuma Vihari, Himanshu Rana and many others! Everyone else on the list should be looked at closely.
SecondSlip
@Ankit_sharma03 What would be your current 16-man India A squad if you were head selector?
rkt.india
I would rather like to develop some one like Abhishek Sharma for Indian team. We do need an all-rounder, but why not a spin alrounder if we can't find a proper seam alrounder. Abhishek is a batsman and can bowl too like a proper spinner. He can be an option going forward. He is actually a good enough bowler in the Sehwag/Sachin/Rohit mould. Watch highlights if u-19 WC.

A spinner all-rounder is a much better option than a pacer all-rounder. This is because it is far easier to find a spinner all-rounder in India and we would have a bigger pool to choose a quality all-rounder from ... And would also allow us to play 3 specialist fast bowlers or 2 specialist spinners based on the pitch. Rahul Tewatia looks very interesting at No.7. Can hit big shots against pacers and spinners ... pace his innings ... pick wickets as well as bowl economy ... plus wrist spinner. Ideal for LOIs would be 6. Pacer all-rounder ( Hardik ) 7. Spinner all-rounder 8. Specialist Spinner 1 9. Specialist Pacer 1 10. Specialist Pacer 2 11. Specialist Pacer 3 or Specialist Spinner 2 ( depending on the pitch ) Edited November 5, 2020 by express bowling

Texan
Ruturaj gaikwad - ODI Devdutt - T20 and ODI Gill - ODI Middle Order, Test shaw - Test Samson - Domestic. Too inconsistent and not the right temperament Kishen - T20, A Team Pant - Test Samad - None. Not talented enough to be an international Abhishek Sharma - None at this time, just Domestic Prasidh - None at this time, just Domestic Kartik tyagi - None. Way too wayward. Domestic Sandeep warrier - Didn't see him play much, can't comment Natrajan - T20 and ODI. Extremely impressed by his death bowling, especially his yorkers. He will give a good balance to our team being a left armer Varun.C - A Team Rahul chahar - Domestic SKY - T20 and ODI. Not sure what else he needs to do to get into the team. Nitish Rana - A Team for 50/20 over matches Nagarkotti - A Team, Domestic. Needs a lot of work Mavi - ODI, A Team. Looks to be ready for the next level Shreyas gopal - A Team K gowtham - A Team Tewatia - Domestic Avesh Khan - Domestic, A Team Ankit rajpoot - Domestic, A Team Siraj - Domestic Tushar deshpande - Domestic Ishan Porel - Domestic Arshdeep - Domestic, A Team Bishnoi - Domestic M ashwin - A Team for 50/20 over matches Sarfraz Khan - A Team Rahul Tripathi - Domestic Mayank Markhande - didn't see him play Priyam Garg - Domestic Mariyam
Lone Wolf
SKY may get picked in the national team next time. Three players whom I like to see in India A team are Ishan Kishan (As of now he is the future although I hope Samson succeeds in T20I) Nitish Rana (I don't think we have any lefti in MO & he is closest to the best we have atm maybe he can fill the Raina void) Tyagi (Good thing he's going to Australia.. Hopefully he plays practice matches there) PS: Ruturaj who seems the best of the lot is already regular in India A. One more good IPl he'll be ready.
