Overreach aside, why did the SC appoint these people from agri in the committee ? Shouldn't they appoint Ambani, Adani, Damani & some other Gujarati/Marwari billionaire since the courts are sold out as per our left media & supporters ?

Anything that goes against their ideology is corrupt and sold out, be it EVMs or the Supreme Court. They always had their NDTV, Hindustan Times, Frontline and other media houses operational since decades and when the right played the same trick, "hey look, godi media!" happened.

MSP was never a legislative decision but administrative.  There is no MSP law.

But it was understood and that was a base bargaining point. Farming is regulated all over the world. I cant believe the level of hate for someone making 10,000 rs per month.

Don't worry not a single member of the committee is against the bill.  All four openly supports the bill.

That's the thing... Khalistanis, anti nationals, ISI, caste-ists and rich-dalal farmers are controlling the show from background, and some gullible poor farmers and gullible fools like @khota are being used as pawns.... The poor guy thinks highly of himself thinking he's able to engage so many posters over here.

Farmers protecting   Rs 10,000 per month and that is too much. Cannot debate on issues and resort to name calling. This is not a Khalistani or ISI or rich farmer issue. This is about economic disparity which is getting worse.

It is still understood and nothing has changed for MSP. Government gave it in writing, but the farmers want to repeal now.. Whatever was asked was given by this phattu government.
MSP/APMC no change in writing -Yes

Free electricity - Yes

no penalty for stubble burning, which they can freely burn now and pollute Indraprastha - Yes

Now seeing how government is relenting, they want repeal of laws- Government finally says No

SC is not against laws, making it mandatory for farmers to negotiate and not demand repeal of laws. Still call it outreach as they are not consistent.

CAA ShaheenBagh - SC said mediation necessary

Same case here

But passes any order with no mediation for protests like Jallikattu, Sabarimala, etc.

Its good to have members with religious studies and liberal arts backgrounds or maybe just inclinations on this forum, adds some comedy to serious topics. I'm reminded of this epic series based on the comparisons made in this thread:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yeF_o1Ss1NQ

Which do you prefer?

a)Atom Bombs (Ambani)

b)Charity (Poor Farmer)

:hysterical:

Math question: If it costs 5 billion pounds a year to maintain Britain's nuclear defence & 75 pounds a year to feed a starving African child, how many African children could be saved from starvation if the ministry of defence abandons nuclear weapons :cantstop: (make whatever equivalence you like, it'll be funny)

Note: Hardly anyone defends PSUs or condones bankruptcies occurring due to incompetence of prior govts & banking heads but the lack of logic on display is just comical

Its game over for the mob. End of manufactured protest.

The aim was always de-escalation, and this move has brought it, and lessen the heat on GOI. The repeal or nothing attitude was foolish.  That side have no facts, no clause by clause arguments, so they have nothing to present to the SC committee. Whereas, GOI have 2 decades of data, information, consultation, research reports. It was a long pending demand which was this GOI fulfilled with the 3 new farm bills. With SC committee, the small farmers and consumers get a voice and space to support the farm bills, instead of the mob dictating and bullying .

The committee will take months, so they need to remove from the roads NOW given the de-escalation of the situation. They cannot threaten and further escalate the situation anymore.

It's institutional, as our system has allowed veto power to different groups, be it certain minority groups or professions. Both the government, SC are seen helpless in this entire fiasco. A distinguished citizen like Yogendra Yadav was allowed power to "suspend" the rights for free movement of our people, and nothing was done about it.

The fault lies in our democracy, as where is the checks and balances?

Law of diminishing returns. One can't keeping escalating the situation, the costs are more than benefits now. They can't keep threatening and retaliation, else it will clear it is only ego match for the mob led by a distinguished citizen Yogender Yadav.

The common man wants law and order. The common man wants facts, and reality of farm bills and 2 decades of work, which will be clear with the SC committee. Thus, no surprising, that the thugs keeps running away from debate or any clause by clause discussion.

Yep, this is the last ditch effort from the Feku party, didn't Supreme court say that farmers can protest peacefully, does the Govt care....roads are still blocked by the corrupt shitholean politicians.:winky:

Modi and his bhakts  have no idea what kind of anger is there  Just yesterday in my small city(rajasthan) close to punjab border. there was a massive rally which lasted for more than 2 and half hours on national highway.  Have not seen anything like this in my life time. Fools think this is political.  Congress can't gather that many people in whole india.:phehe:

True...their temporary joy is that 'Feku made a great move'...:giggle:

That move is not foolish.  They did the best they could. They have put farmers directly against the supreme court.

Haha, the usual suspects want the farmers to continue their unlawful protests. They really want them to go to Parliament and lay siege to the government, courts. Like Trump and the Capitol incident.

Anarchy, and chaos can't be tolerated. Bullying is not a solution, and these thugs should stop their dangerous behavior, and not run away from the debate. Again, where is the clause by clause issues,? Occupying roads, does not make one right ever....

Now, they are calling everybody who are opposing the bills as Feku, BJP, Ambani lapdogs. They have no other sound argument. Kanedian khalistani sympathizers think even SC is sold out. What can you say to that? Welcome to the BJP IT celll Lol

Farm law is non issue for majority Indians. Even when SC has temporarily stalled the bill, these so called "protestors" have no business to be in the street, inconveniencing so many people. But they have a choice to continue protest, but they will have no backers eventually.
