It’s nauseating to see the support of DMK here.. they have been looting the state for generations cheating the gullible under the name of Tamil inam.

Guess we deserve to be pillaged by DMK.long live dravidam.

Special kind of idiots

Looking at bjp seats,  bjp facing congress in 5   cpi 1 (thali) and dmk 14. They might face mmk in ramnad on rising sun symbol

Bjp well placed in nagercoil seat. Outside chance of winning in coimbatore south,  nainar nagendran and the other 2 kk seats.

Clash between PMK, bjp and admk among constituency selection. Both PMK and BJP gunning for seats with majority admk voters which irks admk party men and their voter base threaten repercussions.

Nah, he will only get a few Iyengar votes.

He polled 1.5 lakh votes for coimbatore MP constituency and came in 3rd by fighting cpm and bjp. He basically pulled away both the anti (admk/dmk) votes with him. He has more pull than you think.

it will be a three way fight.

60k votes will be winning figure. Kamal saw BJP and Congress fighting that seat. So chose not to fight from south chennai where dmk and admk are there.

See ultimately it all depends on vote transfer from admk to bjp. A 50% vote transfer happens then vanathi will win.  The issue is the 50% vote transfer...

In the past DMK cadres have ensured that their votes have passed to the BJP. Be it 1999 LS or 2001 assembly. AIADMK cadres have major issues.

Good news is Kamal will get some Iyer Iyengar votes that might have gone to BJP. Coimbatore south was one of the areas I was worried about because of predominant UC Hindu population, but Kamal has ensured that won't happen.

Still some seats like Nagercoil and Kanyakumari can go to BJP. But my hopes of BJP whitewash is still alive

Any other caste consolidation is blessed. But what is worrisome is UC vote consolidation! This is what even our libtard journalists portray.

When will TN politics reform ?? Its very frustrating. The state does ok in several indices in spite of this retarded electoral habit. Just poor people who will work hard but have pragmatic expectations on their leaders just that they themselves don't want to change or lead and look the other way when they know the said leaders or either corrupt castist or dynastic.  Gos bless you poor TN.

One point which everyone seems to miss is that for the first time in decades, this is now a plain battle for political turf in TN. Not an ideological battle. After Karunanidhi and Jayalalitha have passed the politics of personality and ideology is done. It’s plain and simple case of who appeals on the ground and what is value of proposition. Loyalties also don’t matter as much.

This makes it possible for new parties to come in and influence. DMK will win hands down. We are talking of Two  time incumbency. Cède to opposition space to bjp lead allies. And then it’s question of slow compounding which bjp are masters at. DMK will change its politics in coming months and years. Everyone is looking at Bengal and what’s happening. This can potentially happen in every state including TN, Kerala, Andhra and Telangana. Watch this space in 5-10 years.

Sitting dmk mla is bjp candidate from madurai north...his seat was given to cpm. Did not get along with pro uday district secretary.

As forecast by me, eventually dmk will purge non uday loyalists. Most will end up in bjp.

I am told A raja of 2g fame is deeply disappointed at not being given a vidhan sabha seat. Is sulking and weighing his options.

My guess is every secondary party is looking to be the kingmaker. If both  parties fail to get clear majority, the game will start post-polls. MLAs could merge, or switch sides.

DMK will get clear majority. Rest assured.

DMK was supposed to get clear majority in 2016, both pre-polls and exit polls. Turned out very different.

ADMK promises to take persuade Center to drop CAA in their manifesto, but these morons voted for it in the parliament. This is why I said ADMK had a good chance  if they stood alone, now they can't take any anti BJP stand without looking like fools.
