They expect people who spend a lot to visit the place at least are decent enough. That IG user thinks she is owning godesses the punk way and uniting all women. In Hampi, there are stone rings on pillars, earlier they used to rotate. Also, they used to resonate to saptaswaras when lightly hit. People have gone over the years, kept manhandling and they don't work anymore. ASI is the culprit, they hardly spend on protecting these heritage sites, but repairing Aurangzeb's tomb in Delhi every year.

You are mixing stuff.

Aurangzeb's tomb is in Daulatabad, near Aurangabad in Maharashtra. It is inside a dargah complex of a much venerated sufi saint. The dargah is maintained by the descendants of the said sufi order who get alms from the visitors. Not too sure if the ASI chips in.

Years ago I was in Aurangabad attending a wedding of an acquaintance. A zaroorat se jyaada pious 'aunt' from that wedding party insisted that I visit the complex with her so that all my mannats were granted. Her idea of an excursion.  At least back then, it was a crumbling edifice which looked in need of repairs.

TMC leader wants separation on the basis of religion again.

If there's ever a large scale demand for another country in India based on religion, we'll have a bloodbath and "secular Hindus" will meet the same fate as Jihadis.

Secular Hindus will be held responsible for nurturing and defending these snakes in the name of secularism which Muslims don't even believe in.

It wasn't possible. Don't forget that apart from 1999-2004, Congress was in power post Independence till 2014.

I didn't learn about Kashmiri Pandit exodus till 2014. The whole Congress, Liberal, Communist, Islamist batch did everything to sell the "secularism" scam and every single media outlet was in their hands.

Mewat is one of the regions in India where Muslims are the demographic majority. Look at the inbreds making stories about Hindu deities.

If the roles were reversed, Indian Muslims would be screaming blasphemy, how dare you insult our Muhammad etc

Never ever feel bad for or defend these desert cult savages. Remember that their prophet was 56 years old when Aisha was 9. Muhammad even lusted after his adopted son's wife i.e daughter-in-law.

That was just a figure of speech. ASI spends a lot on their own free will in maintaining monuments like this one..

https://www.newindianexpress.com/cities/delhi/2019/may/16/asi-all-set-to-resume-sher-shah-darwazas-restoration-on-its-own-1977623.html

ASI all set to resume Sher Shah Darwaza’s restoration on its own

Standing tall next to the Delhi High Court on Mathura Road, the structure was the western gate to the city of Shergarh.

Some of the world heritage sites like Hampi. Badami caves temples. Mahabali Puram are maintained in pitiable conditions

Praying for BJP's defeat in Mecca. You can identify them by their clothes wasn't an exaggeration.

These converted Muslims are treated like third class people by the Arabs but they are still extremely loyal to the religion of their arab masters.

How does any of this classify into Hindu Hatred?

I don't know what the budgets are for a place like Hampi vis a vis this Darwaza. It would be unfair to suggest an ulterior motive without knowing the details.

We aren't sure how the ASI prioritises what monuments it wishes to spend on.

Could simply be based on returns: ie which has higher footfalls/ scope for tourist revenue.

Yes, agree wrong thread used for the follow up on the ASI indifference towards UN heritage sites. Remember, it started with the IG post of a girl disrespecting Hindu idols in a ASI protected site.  I come across of 100s of such pics and photos and videos, it is disturbing.

I chose not to see the video. I've no doubt it is as vile and disrespectful as you claim it to be. No doubt it is a display of shameful behaviour. The need to unnecessarily put down others *always* stems from a massive inferiority complex. Always.

Muslims need to behave better if they want to be respected or taken seriously. Else they will be treated only as a nuisance. Something I've maintained since forever.

That said, how is your behaviour here much better? Calling Muslims as inbreds and what not. The people in the video are some unemployed louts from a rural area. That doesn't excuse the filth they spew, but that means that people like these aren't representative of 16-17 cr Muslims.

Basically what you are doing is setting the standard on what average Muslim behaviour is by the worst behaviour you come across on YT/Twitter. Is that even fair?

These are my exact words "Look at the inbreds making stories about Hindu deities". I called the people who are making stories as "inbreds" please don't twist my words and project it over all Muslims.

This Mewat area is notorious for crimes on Hindu girls. I'm sure you must have read about the "Nikita Tomar" story where 2 Muslims shot her in public for refusing a relationship. That sort of behavior is a result of the dehumanization of Hindus.

Again, I'm not saying that this is the average Muslim behavior. My opinion is that average Muslims never condemn such behavior from Muslims.

If a Hindu had said such things about Muslims, you'd fine hundreds if not thousands of Hindu moderates condemning such behavior. But, curiously Muslims never condemn such behavior and like to just ignore it.

Is that even fair?

I know I'm not being fair. My intention is to showcase the extremist behavior of Muslims and wake up sleeping secular Hindus. The day Indian moderate Muslims start condemning this behavior instead of ignoring it, I won't feel the need to post these things.

Ignore such people.

I'm not taking the high ground, I clearly said I'm not being fair.

Of course it's Internet hero behavior, most Hindus are asleep and this sort of behaior on the ground would get opposition from gullible Hindus in the first place.

Unlike Muslims who simly ignore extremist behavior of other Muslims, Hindus actively stand up to the extremists in their own community.

@PunterLog This Mewat you posted is in Rajasthan. The Mewat where Hindus are living under majority Muslim hostile population (Nikita Tomar murder) is in Haryana, probably

Mewat is a belt region comprising of Rajasthan, Haryana and UP.

"Mewat is a historical region of Haryana and Rajasthan states in northwestern India. The loose boundaries of Mewat generally include Hathin tehsil and Nuh district of Haryana, Alwar (Tijara, Kishangarh, Bas, Ramgarh, Laxmangarh tehsils and Aravalli hills tract) and Bharatpur districts (Pahari, Nagar and Kaman tehsils) of Rajasthan, and Chhata Tehsil of Mathura district in Uttar Pradesh."

There was another thread on the same, that I was posting. In India, only a Akhlaq, Junaid is outraged, although it is bad, the Hindu loss of life is ignored quoting Bajrang Dal activist or RSS. As if their lives dont matter

A fantastic quote i read on this.

@PunterLog I misunderstood your initial comment which I quoted.

Mea culpa.

As far as condemnation goes, I think these acts have a fair bit of condemnation from Muslims too when articles of Hindu faith are mocked etc. Why would you think otherwise?

The incident of shooting that you've mentioned is a *crime*. Those guys will be sentenced, hopefully get the hangman's noose.

Isn't it a given that everyone condemns a crime? OFCOURSE people condemn it.

You are speaking as if this sort of behaviour finds wide sanction among Muslims. That is simply not the case.

This is why from a young age basic number crunching skills must be emphasized.  As some great philosopher said somewhere "make statistics compulsory"  :winky:

Digressing, but such data needs some transparency by the bureaucracy. A lot of such data needs filing RTIs in India.
