Tattieboy Posted March 5, 2021 Posted March 5, 2021 No one knows what Pant will achieve in his career but it's a fact that Pant is head and shoulders above Adam Gilchrist as a batsmen at the same age of 23 . To this day I have no idea what Gilchrist did to improve his batting after he spent a season in Scotland , couldn't even a record one century . Dhawan only played 6 tests though. if one takes a small sample size, then Shaw has a Sehwag-like SR. The thing with Pant is that he can shift gears during an innings depending on context, which is a rare ability.
