ShoonyaSifar Posted March 14, 2021 Posted March 14, 2021 (edited) Looked at the UP team playing the finals. Average age is 23, led by a 22 yr old captain, youngest player is 17 yrs old (Aaqib) and oldest player is Samarth Singh at 29. Only two players above 25 - Samarth and Akshdeep (27). They have Rinku Singh (23), Kartik Tyagi (18), Purnank Tyagi (20) and Aryan Juyal (19) on the bench. Such a young team in the finals Edited March 14, 2021 by ShoonyaSifar Sandeep99, Vijy, tweaker and 3 others 4 2

ShoonyaSifar Posted March 14, 2021 Posted March 14, 2021 Big chance for Mavi. Pick a good haul of wickets in the final and put his hand up for ODI team selection.
ShoonyaSifar Posted March 14, 2021 Posted March 14, 2021 23 year old Madhav Kaushik with 144*(149) , highest score in VHT finals Wonderfully supported by Akahdeep's 53*(38). Great partnership. Potentially trophy winning one for UP
ShoonyaSifar Posted March 14, 2021 Posted March 14, 2021 158* in a final by Madhav Kaushik. One of the best in domestic cricket. Forward Defence 1
Sandeep99 Posted March 14, 2021 Posted March 14, 2021 Shaw can really make an impact here. If he can score here, he is sure shot for the ODIs..
SK_IH Posted March 14, 2021 Posted March 14, 2021 Shaw is someone Indian cricket needs, he actually likes making use of powerplay Suhaan, raki05, express bowling and 3 others 6

Dayal had a very sharp first spell against Delhi and got the ball to swing. Lost his length here completely after Shaw attacked him. Vijy, express bowling and SK_IH 3
VT87 Posted March 14, 2021 Posted March 14, 2021 I don’t think he has improved a bit same huge gape between bat and pad, its our domestic bowlers incompetency rather than his brilliance.Nobody exploits his incoming ball weakness, international bowlers won’t give him those pies,he will be sitting duck against Cummins or Anderson.he has always been domestic bully nothing over exuberant

Has been playing a carefree game since there is no movement. Atleast approach wise this is impressive. raki05 1
Forward Defence Posted March 14, 2021 Posted March 14, 2021 Bouncer from Mavi smashed for six. 50 off 30 balls for Shaw. Vijy and Mosher 1 1
ShoonyaSifar Posted March 14, 2021 Posted March 14, 2021 A 30 ball 50 for Shaw. A big score again today could seal his spot in the ODI side
ShoonyaSifar Posted March 14, 2021 Posted March 14, 2021 136 kmph by Mavi..looks to be the right speed for once! Maybe add 3-4 kmph extra

Just for the record, Shaw was owning that kyle jamieson in A matches in NZ, the same one who made our maharathis quake in their boots. Same Shaw didn’t last long 2 overs against Cummins.

Most audacious innings in a domestic final that I have watched recently that too in such a huge chase. Toying with the highest wickets taker in VHT - Shivam Sharma. SK_IH 1
