Avesh bowls very attacking lines and lengths in FC cricket.  Mostly either channel balls that move away or quick deliveries attacking the stumps. His FC average of 23.01 and SR of 44.8 after 26 matches is proof of that.

 

Warrier used to be a back of a length bowler for most of his career and is bowling a bit fuller nowadays. FC average of 24.43 and SR of 52.8.

 

Avesh's pace ceiling is higher than Warrier too. Avesh has bowled a fastest of 149 kph in the IPL and many deliveries above 145 kph. While the fastest I have ever seen from Warrier is 143 kph.

 

Avesh is taller than Warrier too and bowls a heavier ball.

 

Plus Avesh is just 24 while Warrier is almost 30.

 

In a nutshell, Avesh is taller, quicker and much younger than Warrier and bowls a more attacking line and length and has a better FC average and SR.

Avesh has been playing domestics for 6 years now.  Slog. Slog. Slog. How much more is there to see?  Same mistake they did with Saini and Siraj.  At least, it doesn't seem to have damaged Siraj too much, although he is definitely slower than 3 years ago when he first burst on the scene.  In 3-4 years, when Umesh and Ishant retire, they will bring in a tired Avesh who has slogged for 10 years in domestics, he will bowl 131-135, look innocuous for a couple of games and fade away.
